neon green look, and a purple eye look for your pleasure

alright, i always do this. like a true procrastinat0r, i've gotten into the habit of waiting til the verrry end of the day, well into the night to begin a new blog post. NOT COOL. i promise to do it when i'm not tired so i can put full focus on making a quality post. this time, i will post pictures and come back tomorrow and edit in the products i used.

-AL - Hyperion all over top lid. it's the one with the little irridescent red flakes of glitter. it's AMAZING.
-Fyrinnae - OMGWTF on outer and middle lid
-Fyrinnae - Danse Macabre in crease and on outer lower lashline
-AL - Impossible Things on middle lower lashline
-AL - Lumos on inner V

i'm not really proud of this look. i mean, it was okay irl. but it's a typical color combo and i didn't do a very good job. i was rushing to go to my moms house an hour+ away!

-AL - Orchideous all over top lid
-AL - Hearts A' Plenty on middle part of lid, but i hardly used it.
-AL - Apocolypse Pansy is the dark purple you see. lower lashline also.
-AL - Odile is the cool, sparkly purple you see on the outer liner wing. it's also on the lower lashline a little
-Urban Decay - Maui Wowie on inner v.

oh yeah!! kathyfuckingjacobs, Painted, and makeupzombie, have given me a blog award! i don't really know what to do with it since i am a total blog n00b.. but man i feel loved and appreciated. you guys are the BEST!

LOTD using 2 Fyrinnae shadows, and one that i made! (it's the sparkliest)

now for a real makeup look! for every day that i intend to do my makeup for my blog, it either takes me no time at all to find what i want to use, or it takes FORRREVER. today it took forever haha. i was highly caffeinated and hadn't had enough to eat yet. luckily, i chose 3 shades that work amazingly together.

I used:
- a badass shade i made that i named, 'Jungle Mint' just now. haha. it's on the inner v area, inner corner. (if you google "jungle mint", you will see a sh'load of Pokemon cards!)
-  Fyrinnae 'Omgwtf' applied in a rainbow shape above the top lid and crease. there is also a tiny bit on lowerlashline. and under liner wing.
- Fyrinnae - Conjuror ( <3 ) in crease and outer v area. outer lower lashline.
- Sally Girl Baked Eyeshadow. its whitish with a blue sheen. it's under the brow and kind of on cheekbonez.
- Meow Cosmetics - Livid Lilac blush (i officially LOVE this)
- Kryolan Aqua Color liner, with 'Jungle Mint' pressed on top with angle brush.
- DiorShow mascara
LIPZ - Lancome - Vintage Rose

i hope you guys liked this look! my skin has been such a f'ing pain in my ass for YEARS. it's so ruddy and my pores are large. i have no idea if big pores are reversable.. i mean i know it's possible with X-treme chemical peels, but i'm not really up for that just yet. i started taking FLAXSEED OIL about a week ago, and it's already starting to feel better and more moisturized. i'll keep you updated on how it works out!

i'd like to know if anyone has found their 'miracle' product yet.. and what is it?

Mini Post - Fyrinnae look from ystrdy. nothin spesh

sup y'all? this look is from yesterday. i did it quickly and didn't really think about what would look good together. i also didn't have time for the usual black liner so i just used Fyrinnae - Catrina Cabaret. I used a bit of brown pencil liner from UD which was fine, but then i tried it on the lower waterline and it looks like poop crap. yes, poop crap. this post is basically just filler til i get the computer charger. i have a BADASS look to post that i did today and i can't wait to share it!

I used:
UDPP, and Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae - Te Amo all over top lid
Fyrinnae - Sugar Skulls in crease and a bit on lower lashline
Fyrinnae - Sacred on inner V area
Fyrinnae - Catrina Cabaret as blue liner.
Urban Decay - Bourbon, brown liner.

fairy makeup look w/ Fyrinnae, a purple i made, and Coastal Scents glitter.

yesterday i did a look that i fell in love with, and will be doing again for sure! michael said i looked like a fairy nymph haha. he's the type of guy who likes minimal to no makeup, but he actually liked this so it made me really happy. i'm about to collapse into my bed, so here's what i used:

- UDPP
- Fyrinnae - Pixie Epoxy on lid and lower lashline
- Fyrinnae - Calavera Cupcakes all over top lid, and inner v
- The darker purple in the crease is something i made =)
- Fyrinnae - Eternal Innocence on lower lashline and under eyeliner wing
- Fyrinnae - (free sample i got!) Otherworld under brow and cheekbones
- Kryolan Aqua Color liner in black
- DiorShow mascara
- Coastal Scents Emerald Green glitter powder mixed with Sally Girl glitter glue, applied with a crappy Bare Minerals brush i bought for liner. it works for applying glitter, at least!
LIPS - an un-named color in a Sugar palette i got at TJ Maxx. too bad there's hardly any left. i f'ing love it.

hope y'all like this look! are there any colors you'd like to see me use? i'm open to suggestions!

1 look with Fyrinnae- Dia De Los Muertos, 1 look with Aromaleigh, and 1 rant!!!!!!!

**hello other beautiful ladies that read my blog!**
tonight i will be posting a look i did today with 3 of the new Fyrinnae shades from the Dia De Los Muertos collection, and the look i did yesterday using Aromaleigh.

Fyrinnae shades - GOD they are all so beautiful and unique! there's not one that i look at and think, 'eh'. you know how that is. i think application and texture wise, 'Sacred' is my favorite. it goes on amazingly, and feels so silky. 'Te Amo' is perfectly named, and quite rich.

i am going to copy/paste something that i posted on my FB today, and i hope it will resonate with some of my readers. i feel the need to say that no one here has brought this about, but it's something i want to change: " i want to address the whole, 'i'm an insecure girl and i hate other girls, so i'm going to be an asshole and try and 1-up them any chance i get' attitude. it's 2010, and it's time to start being supportive of each other. i mean really. additionally: like, i'm sorry if your mom was nasty to other women while you were growing up, or if another female 'stole yo man' in the past, but dude.. life is so much better with multiple lady friends instead of going around with your BITCH FACE on and automatically bad vibin' on other women. it's a real problem and i'm sick of it!" - i have nothing but love for other peeps and i am always in friendmaking mode! love each other!

-Kryolan Aqua color Liner
-Meow Cosmetics - Canary Diamond tinted glow powder. quickly becoming something i need full size. recommended for highlighting, and blending to make soft.
-Urban Decay - blush in Fetish. also recommended!
-Lancome color design lipstick in Vintage Rose.
-Rimmel eye pencil in Jungle. had it forever.

the world is on my bed in the pic below! i think next time i do this color combo, i'll use a darker purple on the lower lashline. i feel like i was too light with the color and there wasn't enough contrast. 'Asteria' seemed like a deeper purple. and 'Incendio', when swatched on my wet hand had purple glitter that was very prominent. NOT over PE. oh well.

AL - riddikulus - above crease also applied using a rainbow shape
AL - Asteria in crease and lower lashline.

Fyrinnae - Dark Fantasy, Equality and Aromaleigh - Expeliarmus

heyo. so today, Fyrinnae's chemist posted this on twitter: Fyrinnae_2nd - "Dark Fantasy comes out such a nice shade, gleaming and morphing to deep red hues, but I've yet to see it look quite like that in any pics"

right away i decided to use Dark Fantasy because it's one of my favorite colors. it's the BEST green, hands down. I did try to get a pic of the reddish sheen, you can KIND OF see it!

i have been severely sleep deprived for the past week or so, so please forgive my skin for showing it. i seriously spent half my day laying on the floor :( oh yeah, like 5 people have already posted about Shiro Cosmetics coming out with new LEGEND OF ZELDA inspired collection called 'Legendary Collection'. GOD, i can't wait to order samples.. Zelda has been my favorite video game since it came out on Nintendo 64. anyway, on to the pics. me sleepy, i just had to mention/'Link' y'all to it!

I used:
Urban Decay Potion Primer all over, then Fyrinnae - Pixie Epoxy on top lid only
Fyrinnae - Dark Fantasy all over top lid, and blended up
Fyrinnae - Equality just below the eyeliner wing and swept onto cheekbone, lightly.
Aromaleigh - Expeliarmus all in crease and inner V - it was perfect bc it's got green glitterz!
Meow Cosmetics - Canary Diamond tinted glow powder
i almost put green glitter atop my liner but decided against it since it's not kurisumas/christmas yet. haha.

This is the supposed-to-be clos up of the reddish sheen, i hope it's somewhat visible.

Fyrinnae - Samhain Spirits, Meow - Caliope, Dour

heyooo. i decided to take a short break from the heavy eye makeup yesterday, and used one of my favorites from Fyrinnae - Samhain Spirits. yeah, i know it's not the most colorful, but it's such a nice, easy to look at color with a nice amount of shimmer. i think it's one of those colors that could look good on anyone. I also used 4 samples i recently received from Meow Cosmetics. Caliope, Canary Diamond, Livid Lilac Blush and Dour. Here are some photos of the look:

I used:
- Fyrinnae - Samhain Spirits all over top lid
- Meow - Caliope on inner V, lower lashline and under brow. also used to blend samhain spirits up.
- Meow - Dour on lower lashline and a little in crease
- Meow - Canary Diamond just under brow and on cheekbonez
- Livid Lilac blush
- Kryolan Aqua Color liner with some purple glitter lined on top for the extra sparkle i NEED. what was left over i put on my lower lashline. not much.

i chose to use this slightly blurry pic bc it shows the sparkle!

this pic and the one above and below are the daylight pics.. they are kinda dull because the weather was pretty ugly yesterday, but i try to include daylight and flash pics in all of my posts.

*i always forget to post stuff then come back later and type it in.* - I want to know what you plan on being for Halloween, if anything at all. if you aren't dressing up, do you have a child that is? check out the little lamby on my bed in the last pic. it's so old! hope you enjoyed this =)
