favorite hair color EVAR, and very neutral make-up look =)

hello again! today i would like to share my current hair color. i had no idea mixing some red with conditioner and applying it over blue would turn out so nicely! i'll probably be keeping this for a good long while. 

some of the things i used for the look:

-MAC yogurt eyeshadow all over lid and lower lash line

-Detrivore Cosmetics Lecher eyeshadow mixed with Fyrinnae's Avian Shapeshifter for the liner. AS applied on lower lash line and inner v. Lecher applied to crease.

-MAC Chill eyeshadow under brow (best shit)

-Clinique Creamy Nude lipstick

-Silver glitter liner from Fantasy Makers applied to middle lower lash line

-Detrivore Cosmetics Wormwood eyeshadow on freshly plucked brows. plucked is such a gross word.

over all, i'd say this is a really easy neutral look that could be expounded upon millions of times. last night i imagined doing 'neon skin' colored eyeliner and this is what i came up with! enjoy <3

Orange! camera fail.

Today I will share a darkened orange look. I used the brightest orange I own, but somehow the look is still wearable and 'mature'. I used EvilShades - Otherworldy as the bright orange, and my camera totally screwed up some of the pics by making the brightest part a dark muddy blue. I photoshopped 1 of the pics just to try and remove most of the blue.. it didn't go that well but I'm posting it anyway. Also, I have to say that Otherworldy stained my eyelids UNLIKE ANY OTHER SHADOW EVER HAS. It looks disgusting and I can't wait to cover it up with eyeshadow later. Be careful when using this Evil Shade.

I used:
UDPP and PE as uze
-EvilShades - Otherworldy all over top lid, and blended into Pumpkinfire on lower lashline
-Detrivore - Gourd in crease
-AL - Luella above Gourd to blend
-AL - Incendio above Luella to blend, also on inner v and under inner brow
-Fyrinnae - Pumpkinfire used on BROWS, lower lashline, and in crease
-Urban Decay - Chopper on inner v and under inner brow
-MAC - Chill under brow to highlight, and under liner wing to highlight
-LIPS- Loreal Endless - Naked Ambition
-NYC liquid lip shine in Sheer Ruby atop the above
-Maybelline Volume mascara (AMAZING)

this is the one i had to fix, kind of =/

maybe us beauty bloggers should band together to create a Zine..

so i got inspired by a picture in Allure magazine (DOUBLE BARF) of all things. the only reason i have a subscription to this horrid magazine is because they actually have good makeup looks (and bc i wanted to support my little bros school fundraiser haha). if anyone could PLEASE RECOMMEND a magazine that doesn't involve articles about plastic surgery, how to lose weight fast, and how to obsess even further about how disgusting our bodies are and how we should always look good for men.. i'd be more than grateful. i'm so offended when i actually try and read anything in Allure. seriously all i want to see in a magazine are inspiring photos and possibly some tried and true product recommendations. it's becoming more and more obvious to me that all those magazines; Lucky, Allure, even Vogue are being paid by the same huge cosmetic brands to recommend their products even if they suck or contain crappy ingreedz.

I used:
UDPP and PE
-AL - Morsmorde all over outer lid and lower lashline
-AL - Just A Head on lower lashline under Morsmordre to blend down
- AL - Serpensortia on inner v and blended out a lil
- AL - Priori Encantato above Morsmordre and blended together
- MAC - Chill under brow and blended down into Priori Encantato
- MAC - Yogurt all around eye area to soften.
-Maybelline Volume Mascara.. black tube with red foil letters. great brush and formula!

what a wonderful mess! the thing is.. it's not messy to me, it's an organized pile that LOOKS like a mess. haha, it's not always like this.

Aromaleigh - Alohomora... do yourself a favor and buy this full size!

today i used Aromaleigh - Alohomora and omgggggg i freaking LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! it even looks gorgeous in the little sample bag, but i haven't used it til today because i've been focused on using colors and staying away from browns. and neutrals. but i think i'm going to start using browns and neutrals more often because i have SO many samples of them and i don't want them to feel left out =) so expect to see a few natural-ish looks in the future. anyway, i paired it with it's darker cousin from Fyrinnae - Fire Opal. enjoy.

I used:
-UDPP
-Pixe Epoxy
-AL - Alohomora all over top lid and a little up. on lower lashline blended down a little
-Fyrinnae - Fire Opal in crease and blended out slightly
-Fyrinnae - Sacred (<3) on inner v, then swept into crease
-MAC - Yogurt used above inner v.. i guess that's under inner browbone?
-MAC - Chill under brow
-The Falsies mascara.. it's a little too liquidy and the brush is kind of a loser.
LIPS - Loreal - Naked Ambition lipstick
-CoverGirl WetSlicks - Iced Berry. this stuff actually sucks but the color looked good on top of the lipstick! i would never wear it alone, as it is way too liquidy.

currently feeling: like i just woke up. basically, i've felt like i could fall asleep at any moment ALL DAY. it has not been good for me. my brain isn't working the way it should. constant brain fog.

i'm sorry i haven't made a real post in a while. i guess you could say i haven't really been feeling it. maybe it's the weather, or maybe it's just me. maybe i don't get enough sleep ever and maybe i'm just not inspired lately. help, send magic or something!

here's a look a did a few days ago using a few from Meow and some from Aromaleigh. the green you see is MAGNIFICENT. it's 'paranormal' from Meow, which i WISH i had ordered full size but now i can't til next halloween =( i also wanted Curse and Supernatural. Meow has some really great products that i would totez endorse. ok, i fully love all the colors i used.. all of them.

also, the necklace i'm wearing was something my mom made in summer camp when she was 9 or something. it's so weird and kind of ugly, but it's unique and i've never seen anything like it, so i love it. i pretend it has magical indian, or owl powers, since it's supposed to be an owl. anyway onto the picz:

-Meow - Cursed on top lid where green and brown meet.
-AL - Tunnel Vision (i really f'ing want this full size, it's like silk) on lower lashline brushed down a little for sparkle power
-AL - Looking Glass on inner v. it was shinier than Tunnel Vision and the v needed something else.
-MAC - Yogurt used to blend Chronos out, you can kind of see the pinkish color
-MAC - Chill under brow
BLUSH: MeowCosmetics - Rhetorical Ruin. didn't use enough.
LIPS: Smashbox - Finale, with mark. glow baby glow in 'Hot'.
-Diorshow mascara

hello y'all. this look was inspired yesterday when i wasted my time reading someones hate filled, angry blog post about how much they hate someone. haha, yeah. i know, it had nothing to do with me, but it was the perfect example of what i posted about last week: as women, we should be supportive of each other instead of BASHING each other. like, live and let live RIGHT?

haha. ok, so i was inspired to deal with my feelings in a healthy way by choosing angry eyeshadow names. they perfectly describe the author of the post i read =) also, i'm not sure what fruminous means, but it sounds angry.

I used:
Aromaleigh (AL)- Brazen & Bitter all over top lid and inner V
AL - Fruminous on lower lashline
AL - Temper, Temper in crease and smoked up a lil
Detrivore Cosmetics - Carnage all around eye area, used for softening edges. under inner brow
MAC - Chill under brow
Kryolan Aqua Color liner
DiorShow mascara
Meow Cosmetics Livid Lilac blush
LIPS - Maybelline lipstick in 515 Coral Crush
NYC liquid lipshine in Sheer Ruby on top (this combo is magical)

i hope y'all liked this look. it looked SO GOOD irl!! i think it's a new favorite. anyway, here's to positive posts in the future!
